DOJ Says Crocodile Tears Too Salty, Not Sweet Enough

Here’s some NEWS: Ninety-five percent of what the Associated Press publishes as news is actually opinion.

If they can do it, so can I.

A February 3, 2023 article by By ALANNA DURKIN RICHER and MICHAEL KUNZELMAN reports that January 6 defendants are faking remorse in front of judges. The article is listed on the AP site as news. Not opinion editorial. NEWS.

So this article at Trigger Factory, using the Associated Press standard, is also NEWS, not opinion.

The article, titled “Sorry, not sorry: Some 1/6 rioters change tune after apology” says accused January 6, 2020 participants freed after their courtroom apologies run for political office based on their former political prisoner status. The AP hit piece specifically and repeatedly targets one primary conservative candidate for not spending the remainder of his life kissing the ass of our tyrannical federal government.

I once punched a bully for picking on my kid brother. The school bus driver told me to apologize, so I did in order to not get suspended from riding the bus. I wasn’t remorseful, and even while I was saying “sorry” I was making plans to punch that bully again later when we were off the bus and away from school property. And I carried out those plans. And I’m still not sorry, despite saying I was when I was 11 years old.

Has there ever been a time in your life when you said you were sorry without really meaning it? Perhaps a teacher ordered you to apologize to a classmate for something and you obeyed, even though you did nothing wrong. Maybe you apologized to your mom when your dad told you to, even though you weren’t sure what for.

If you say you have never given an insincere apology, I’m willing to bet you’re a damn liar.

Given the choice between saying, “I’m sorry” or being held indefinitely as a political prisoner in a democrat controlled re-education gulag, I understand why a defendant would fake some remorse. This miserable, whiney-ass hit piece from the Associated Press is just another attack on freedom of expression by the tyrannical dystopian regime that rules us.

The theme is unbroken: First, they arrest you for protesting to censor you and shut you up. Then they brainwash, cajole, coerce, threaten, and/or torture you into saying what they want you to say. Once you capitulate and get back to an illusion of liberty, they use their state run media to discredit and destroy your character and livelihood.

As the bias of the yellow dog state journalists grows more illuminated which each passing day, so does my certainty that the overwhelming majority of the January 6 protestors are true American Patriots and heroes. How long are we going to tolerate the Biden regime’s harassment, psychological torture, and confinement of them as political prisoners?

I’ll close with this little message for the Associated Press and all the other state run, intelligence agency sycophant, psy-op running media organizations: Your time is almost up. It is blatant and continuous obvious propaganda like your latest article that is propelling thousands of back water independent media entities like Trigger Factory into the relevant space you’ve fallen from.
