Kyle Says Media Accountability Is Coming

As much as I would love to see Rittenhouse win so much money from CNN, MSNBC, Whoopie, and LeBron, I’m skeptical.

Why establish an organization to hold media accountable while you are in the beginning stages of filing lawsuits? If your odds of winning are good, you have plenty of money after your first win or settlement to seed your new organization. If they aren’t so good, you need enough money to keep your attorneys working for you in spite of the likelihood of no big payoff at the end of the trial(s).

In which case it makes sense to seek donations from the public.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Kyle is doing a great thing, and I hope it has a massive impact. I just also see the timing and tactics as an indication his own team isn’t highly confident about winning these lawsuits. Libel suits are very difficult to prove, despite the Covington Kids/Nick Sandman victory. Remember, that was a settlement, not a jury decision.
